The Ascent Pro features Black Gold's new Wing Truss base machined from 6061 aluminum. The Wing Truss base gives you the weight savings of carbon, but the dependability and robustness of aluminum!
Black Gold has also incorporated their new Pro Pin. This CNC machined pin is the latest pin development for Black Gold. The Pro Pin has a narrower throat that ends in a round pinhead. This smaller throat allows for less target blackout, as well as a more defined aiming point. The Pro Pin incorporates a new easy click micro adjust system that lets you fine tune your sight pins individually, or move all your pins at the same time.
The Black Gold Ascent Pro also features 1st, 2nd, and 3rd axis adjustment, with 1st and 3rd being micro adjustable, as well as Black Gold's ultra-bright Sky Coil technology. The fiber optics are coiled in a housing on the top of the sight where light is most available. The result is some of the brightest pins on the market. Additionally, after sunrise, Black Gold's patented Photochromatic shell automatically darkens, blocking UV light from reaching the fiber and preventing the pins from getting too bright during midday.
The Ascent Pro has a 1-3/4" pin housing diameter and has an overall length of 9-1/4".
