The Shrewd Optum Lens Housing and Retainer Ring both threads into Shrewd Optum scopes as a lens retainer ring as well as accepts threads to mount a compatible sunshade (sold separately). The Optum Lens Housing is built tough in the USA with a two part CNC machined 6061 aluminum body.
The larger Optum lens housing fits the 40mm and 35mm Shrewd Optum scopes, and accepts lenses that are 1.75" in diameter with a maximum lens thickness of 0.150". The smaller Optum lens housing fits the 29mm Shrewd Optum scope, and accepts lenses that are 1.35" in diameter with a maximum lens thickness of 0.150".
