Specialty Archery's 1/8" Peep Sight Verifiers are designed to ammend issues with blurry sight pins. A verifier lens is similar to those found in reading glasses, and sharpens the view of objects that are closer to the eye.
Specialty's 1/8" Verifiers are meant for use with their standard size peep housings and with their 1/4" peep housing when using the Specialty Peep Reducer bushing.
These verifiers are available in 6 different strengths, with #4 (Silver) being the weakest and #9 (Orange) being the strongest. The most popular options for Specialty Archery have been the weakest three, #4, #5 and #6.
Using a verifier that is too weak in power will cause the target to be clear and the sight pins to be blurry. Using a verifier that is too strong leads to clear sight pins with a blurry target.
Specialty Archery recommends that their Dual Aperture Wrench be used for installing clarifiers in peep housings.
